CONCLUSIONS AND FUTURE DEVELOPMENTSIn the past, the data generated from different types of equipment varied in format (and some tools did not even have an interface to access the data), we can assume that by way of more and more standardization, data integration in factories will become more elegant, effective, and extensive. A lot of effort has been required historically to simply combine data with different file formats and different coordinate systems on the wafers, into a data warehouse. With increasing standardization, we will see simpler data communication and faster interfaces, thus allowing access to even more data.
