MATERIAL AND PROCESS OPTIMIZATIONSITO is a transparent conductive oxide and typically consists of 90 percent indium and 10 percent tin oxide. Because of its good optical and electrical properties, it mainly occurs as an electrode material in different screen manufacturing applications, as in liquid crystal displays and touch screens. The ITO thin layers are then usually deposited by sputtering and then etched.For printing purpose an ITO ink is prepared as a mixture of nanoparticles present in a solvent. During annealing, the solvent evaporates, leaving only the nanoparticles, which form a solid ITO layer.For these experiments, an ITO ink is used, based on ITO nanoparticles, which represent 40 percent of the ink.
