CONCLUSIONNo one likes to step out of a store with a new purchase just to have it break a short while afterward. We all expect a product to perform its designated duties for a reasonable length of time. Thus, reliability is an integral part of product specifications. Unreliable products are never successful in the market place. In order to achieve a reliable product, all elements that make up the product must be reliable. The saying that a chain breaks at the weakest link is indeed correct in real life.Here we took a close look at the reliability of interconnects in integrated circuits.
