ARTICLE 230. SERVICES230.2. Number of Services. For any building, the service consists of the conductors and equipment used to deliver electric energy from the utility supply lines to the interior distribution system. Service may be made to a building either overhead or underground, from a utility pole line or from an underground transformer vault.The first sentence of this rule requires that a building or structure be supplied by "only one service."
