Chapter Five: PART 4: PROTECTION FOR SAFETY
10106001010401 Chapter Five: PART 4: PROTECTION FOR SAFETYPart 4 of BS 7671 deals with the protection and safety of persons and livestock. It is broken down into four chapters and one annex, each placing various requirements to protect persons from: electric shock, thermal effects, overcurrent, and voltage and electromagnetic disturbances. For our purposes, the majority of the earthing and bonding requirements are found in Chapters 41 and 44, protection from electric shock and protection from voltage and electromagnetic disturbances. However, we do have a few things to discuss in regards to the other chapters.
