Coping with Conflicts and Changes
1010204 Coping with Conflicts and ChangesAs manager and team leader, you’ve got to cope with conflicts and changes. In this chapter I’ll recommend ways to do so more effectively—and make your job easier.
Resolving Conflicts Although conflict is normal with teamwork, when it gets out of control, it can wreck teamwork and cut into productivity. The only way to handle conflict is to deal with it directly. Trust your teammates to work out their differences—and help them develop skills for resolving their conflicts. The method that I recommend for teams is direct dealing.
