The Storage of Electric EnergyStorage can be employed for power-intensive or energy-intensive applications. If mostly power is needed for relatively short periods of time, the application is power intensive. If energy is needed for relatively long periods of time, the application is energy intensive.ESS are not like conventional power-generation plants; instead of being classified and defined only by their power rating, ESS have both power and energy ratings. This means that the selection of ESS can be fine-tuned to assist for energy-intensive or power-intensive applications and that different storage technologies are not necessarily apt at fulfilling all the range of applications.S…
