Project Financing
Project FinancingPF is a financing structure that employs equity and debt for the construction and operations of large infrastructural projects where revenues are secured by strong and binding off-taking contracts or governmental-backed agreements. The parties that are usually involved in a PF are the project company or the special purpose vehicle (SPV) company that is created for owning and managing the asset, the advisors (technical, legal, insurance, and tax), the EPC and O&M contractors, the lender parties, the arrangers, the managing bank, and the syndication of other banks providing the loan to the SPV, the account bank where the SPV accounts are held, the off-takers, and the regulatory agencies.
