Nondeterministic Analysis
Nondeterministic AnalysisEach assumption that is embedded in the model is subject to some degree of uncertainty, which translates in the possibility for the parameters in the model to vary by assuming values in certain intervals [8]. Not considering the uncertainty in the assumptions makes the analysis limited and partial. A more refined analysis must therefore aim at reducing the uncertainty that is inevitably manifest in the decision-making process. A way to cope with uncertainty is moving from a deterministic towards a nondeterministic, stochastic modeling that is suited to deal with ranges of variation of the key project variables.
