Generator Load Balancing When it is desired to balance the load among multiple generators in any system, the technician should always follow the procedure set forth by the manufacturer of the aircraft. This procedure will be found in the manufacturer's service or maintenance manual. The test procedure is usually begun by checking all generators with a precision voltmeter. This is done after the generators and engines are warmed up to normal operating temperature.
